Do you back up Microsoft 365?
Yes. IT Guard backs up Microsoft 365 mail, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams separately from Microsoft's own retention, so deleted or encrypted data can be restored for as long as you keep the service.
Where do IT Guard backups go?
IT Guard can keep backups in three places: a local device, our Miami colocation and your own cloud account. We recommend the 3-2-1 rule, three copies on two kinds of storage with one off site, and you choose how many places your plan uses. Copies are immutable and restores are tested on a schedule.
How often are restores tested?
On managed plans we test a full restore every six months and review every backup job monthly, so a backup is never assumed to work until a restore has proved it.
What happens to our IT in a hurricane?
Remote support stays up throughout. Before a storm we verify backups and power protection; after it we restore connectivity and systems in priority order, starting with what keeps you operating.
Does IT Guard protect against ransomware?
Yes. IT Guard keeps immutable backup copies that ransomware cannot alter, with tested restore paths, so an encrypted environment can be rebuilt from clean data.
